When the folks of Europe were in danger and the battle cry came from Berlin
From every land a host came forth, prepared for battle
An army, diverse and varied, united in flaming courage
An army of brothers who did not understand each other's tongues
But what do words have to say, when all that matters is: attack
The crackle of machine guns - that is a language we can all understand
We are fighting against Russian hordes who are as if in league with the devil
We fight against Stalin's guardsmen
Our fight breaks the power of the monster
And if you find death over there in the fight for the new cause, we quietly bow our heads and lower our swastika flags.
