>>64894Even the white nurses are shit these days. When I went through this in the 90s with my great-grandparents my grandfather paid double the usual salary to in-home aides just to prevent them from stealing. They did not stay during the night. Someone sat up with her all night most nights. She had full blown dementia by that point and had stopped eating. She just wanted to die.
I remember waking one night around 3am. She was talking to my Grandfather in the next room during a moment of clarity
>Please get the shotgun and put an end to thisWill never forget those words. My own Grandfather asked me to do something similar for him when he was dying in the hospital. I couldn't do anything for him at the time because they were watching him 24/7 and it wasn't my place. I tried to talk to my father about it the next day but he wouldn't hear any of it. Grandfather wanted to give me $100,000 to go procure a fat shot of morphine to put him to sleep. Everyone said he was just talking crazy from post surgery anesthesia. They experimented on him. Put in a pace maker for no reason and shoved a tube down his throat in the middle of the night. He spent the last three days unable to talk. But I know he was all there I could see it in his eyes. We ended up pulling the plug on him while he was awake. Saw the lights go out. He caught an incurable "super bug" from the various IVs they had in him. So they said.
Pretty sure the night nurse was going to murder him and was unable to because someone was at his bedside 24/7. He was convinced she was going to kill him at least. Everyone said he was just racist towards Asians because he served in Korea. Day nurse was also Asian and he had no problems with her. They never mention that.
Whatever you do don't leave them alone with in-home care or at the hospital. They'll murder them, rob them blind and run up a huge bill. They'll keep them alive for as long as possible to keep running up that bill. He had full coverage and they still had the gal to send a bill for $850,000 three years after he'd died in an attempt to extort my Grandmother out of more money. They itemized every doctors and ER vis
