I took my laptop to get cleaned and have it's thermal paste replaced. A game run just fine and was happy the fans are silent since it had a noise problem from all the dust. Then the game began slowing down and fps plummeted. Wdyt

My favorite part of 4chan's /g/ is arguing about image file types.
AVIF is definitely the best file type, and can do everything jpg, png, gif, jxl, or qoi can do, and it can do it better.

Probably turbo autism but I read on a privacy guide long ago that you need to watch your typing habits for safeguarding your anonymity. I copy-paste everything from a notepad so my keystroke-timing isn't logged, but how can anonymize my writing style itself? Would be good to put everything through a filter first so it comes out with less of a stylistic fingerprint.

Do any anons here have experience with tapping phones? Im 99% positive that a family member's cell phone is tapped. Why do I suspect this? Various indications include weird noises in the background, echoing voice, random occurences of other people answering the phone other than the intended recipient, the recipient suddenly having trouble hearing our voice at times, sometimes hearing other voices in the background, calls sometime having difficulty going through, among other signs. I suspect that it's the landlord downstairs who is a nosy bitch. On the cell phone Ive put in certain secret codes that check if calls are somehow being forwarded to another number and come up empty (although Im betting that isnt fullproof).

The phone is a 2015 Samsung Galaxy device running on 4g. The family member isnt very tech saavy so there were never any apps installed (google account was never set up) so Im doubting any spy apps were ever installed plus the phone has never gone in anyone else's hands. Unless there's a covert way to install a small discreet app of sorts through wifi…

Ive read about stingray devices but those cost about $25000. But I wouldnt put it past this neighbor to buy something like that. Is there any other way that someone can spy through a cellular network and more importantly, how can I stop it?

You are schizo as shit though.
>I hear other people talking because it's taped
It's a cell phone fren only POTS works that way and only if someone is incompetent using picrel
>Not stingray it's a femtocell
A stingray is a femtocell plus carrier spoofing where the carrier spoofing is the really tricky glownigger shit
>Someone else is answering the calls
At best this means downstairs grandma-government managed to do a SIM clone

Coming from someone on a bootleg copy of a site known for its rampant degeneracy, off the wall variety paranoid userbase, and understandable racism and jew blaming for all problems, that's just rich. Call me schizo if that helps you feel better but I know what Im hearing. Can it be coincidence? Possibly. But it'd be one fuck of a coincidence considering all the variables much less the fact that in the absence of possible offender(s) these issues suddenly stop 100%.

In any case you seem to have knowledge on telecoms and this sort of thing. Can you point a fren in the right direction for resources on learning about these sorts of scenarios and possible defense?

General searches dont yield any fruit unless you search very specific terms which lead to dead ends anyway. I could only find one somewhat relevant video on youtube by some indian guy with one of the thickest accents around but from what I could understand he was still mostly talking off topic theory.

How can I use an AI voice changer to alter my voice so I can make narrated content anonymously?

Before I invest too much time and energy into that, is it currently possible to get AI to narrate an entire ebook for me? For some reason D-list e-celebs can have amazing quality TTS for their stupid superchats, but books are still being narrated by Stephen Hawking

ONION №.3592

>>3591
Depends on what model you use, higher quality ones sound better but are much slower.

ONION №.3598

Go look at HuggingFace. They have some impressive opensource TTS engines but they all struggle with inflection.

>learn one language you can learn all the others
I always see this being said and I don't think it's correct, Python and C are two different worlds, Haskell is even more different, and then you have Rust which forces you to think differently about your problems because of the borrow checker.
There are quite a few categories of programming languages, and learning one language means you can move freely inside of that category, for example if you learn C++, Java will be a piece of cake…

94c13 №.3553

you can use crablang (fork of rust with no CoC) and say fuck off to the trannies

The problem with Go is you need to give yourself a lobotomy and suck Google's dick constantly before the language becomes a good idea.

>How do I have a static variable local to a function?

You don't want to do that.
>Yeah, I do. I very much want to do that but I don't see a way to do it.
No you don't want to do that. Three guys got together in a room at Google and not all of them could agree that static variables were important so you don't want to do that. Use a global instead.
>Fuck you and your trannyware

With Ireland passing this insane hate speech law that Keith Woods has been covering lately, I need some advice. Putting aside the obvious caveat that it would be better not to use phones at all for anything questionable - can anyone explain the extent and effectiveness of encryption on stock Android vs, say, Graphene OS, both when the device is powered on but locked, and when it is powered off?
I had assumed that stock Android used full-disk encryption, so if my device was seized when powered off then the authorities would have no access to it, but from my (non-tech) understanding of the Android FAQs, it no longer uses FDE.
Please help so I don't go to prison for Pepe memes.

Auto updating apps without reproducible builds make end to end encryption meaningless.
You really can't have security on a smartphone. If you want IM style chat with E2EE use XMPP with OMEMO.
