I can't even watch the rest of the VOD because later on I was waiting to reconnect even longer, and probably caused an even longer pause for everyone

Update. I watched the whole VOD and it only happened once. Also, I was informed it is a bug, so everything is okay, I guess

When I was a kid I didn't even know about the rest of the Spyro series or even that there were sequels to this game. I liked the tone and story, the idea or being a chosen, yet naive entity that had control over all of the elements. When I looked into development and found Aether and convexity and that Malefor was corrupted by something else, it all just seemed cool. When I grew up and looked into this game, the consensus seems to be that the reboot was shit, but I think a novel, or something else entirely that rips off the basic plot elements of the series (corruption, elements, the chosen one born every so often that has the ability to control all the elements and eventually the fabric of reality itself) would be cool.

What was the second one called? I remember playing that one for the Wii. Allowed you to unlimited fly, which was the only memorable thing about it.

Yes I played all the spyros. When I was a kid, maybe 3-4 years old I played the first one on my uncles playstation and with my cousin. Then I got my own playstation and played spyro 2 and 3. They were great. I have fond memories playing them and the shitty polygons made everything more wonderful. Then there was Enter the Dragonfly. I never owned that game but I played it in my cousins. A lot of people didn't like it because it was and felt different, but I didn't mind it so much. It still had me captivated as a kid. Like the original 3 games it was kinda magical to me, but was just different. I suppose everything is magical when you are a stupid kid

I think then I played spyro on gameboy and it was good as far as those games went

Then there came another new game. Spyro a Hero's Tail. This game was so far off from the original trilogy but it was still in line and faithful story wise. I honestly liked it a lot and I was about 10 or11 at the time I think. I remember staying up all night playing that game with my friends and my cousin
I liked the changes even if I missed the old feel of spyro games. I also liked how Spyro moved more like a dragon, I thought it was really cool. Loved it. I wiped the dust off of my PS2 and played that game years later in my early 20's and played it to 100% completion I liked it that much

AND THEN
AND THEN There came "a new beginning". I hated it so much. I hated "muh speshul purple chosen one" bullshit and I hated the serious tone and I hated how they just rebooted the lore and the story and I hated the gameplay and the combat. I thought it was fucking gay and it was in no way what so ever a spyro game in any way but in title. Played it anyways and remembered nothing of it. No joyful memories like the rest before. Second one came out from the reboot, wasn't interested but I got it for Christmas anyways so I played it reluctantly. I wasn't expecting anything good and I was expecting a pile of crap. Got a pile of crap. But I could enjoy it for what it was (pile of crap) now that I knew what I was getting into. I wasn't so disappointed like last time as I already knew

Last one, don't even remember the name of it, I got it just because you could fly in it. It was just meh. I just liked flying, that's all I can say about it

I played the remakes of the original trilogy last year. I didn't likePost too long. Click here to view the full text.

I remember this gem and STL have the disc. It turned into Tribes with the sequels. I've never played a mech combat sim that would stand up to this level of fun since. Hawken comes close but it's pvp and also it died outside Xbox. Any game you can't play without someone else's servers is not dependable.

Earthsiege had good aesthetic, good soundtrack, decent customization and even a flying unit although the controls left something to be desired.

The game was immensely simple. There's no reason medium level programmers can't put together another version of this game with endless levels and LAN multiplayer missions. I want more frens.

i remember getting that game on discount and thinking it would be like mechwarrior 2. i think i only played for like an hour, i dont remember why
