I am a habitual restarter, characters/worlds never last long.
Minecraft
A few hours into a new and my last world, found a small island and I'm going to put everything I build on one huge tower.
Skyrim
The endless modding cycle. Added bouncy boobs, looks fucking stupid and I mostly play in first person. Gonna change a few small towns add some armour then wait until I'm in the mood to play.
Elden Ring
On the last boss with my 2nd/STR character, switched to my 1st/wizard to get some spells and weapons I missed. This game is holding me hostage.
There are some great parts, and I love a walking simulator, but I feel like I'm fighting the mechanics rather than the enemies most of the time.
It just isn't fun.
Fortnite
Can't get back into this and not sure why, maybe I suck too much.
Yes, I only play the most obscure games.

>>91You should try more independent games or older stuff.
Off the top of my head if you haven't played them yet try Hollow Knight or the Stalker Games(you'll find the proper mods on retard chans /vg/)

>>88Icewind dale. I just finished the vale of shadows, about to start Kresselacks tomb; its a slog so I'm waiting for motivation atm. I love this game, but I've played it tons before; I have basically nothing to do lately so I'm trying to stay occupied.

I'm playing FF10 and Dragon Quest 11.
Right now I'm kind of stuck in FF10 and need to grind since the boss after the calm plains wiped the floor with me. I guess I gotta do that monster capturing side quest which isn't too bad since I like the combat in this game.
In Dragon Quest 11 I just got to the snowy kingdom. I'm really torn on this game because the monsters are great, the combat is great, but the music is meh, the characters are just okay, and the story had ADHD.

>>88Tried another no-death run in Sifu. Died in the fourth level, mostly blame it on the camera movement and how it hides enemies out of my area of sight. Still fun though.

>>91You should play Apex Legends instead of Fornite. Its art style is shit but the actual fights are leagues better than any battle royale zoomer shit

>>88I have a bad habit of buying cheap (indie) games on sale and barely playing any.
At least I've been playing some Vampire: The Masquerade lately.
Last week I played some Torchlight 2 and Unreal World.
I'd really want to get some of these long CRPGs finished so I can go on to play other long CRPGs.

>>89>Dungeon Crawl Stone Soupbased, one of the best new old classics.
Have been playing caves of qud a bit again, awesome roguelike.
Finished nethack bout twenty years ago, after playing for couple years or so, zangband, adom and dungeon crawl are all ones I liked enough to make it through. Caves of qud is great, played it around 15 years ago, bought it on steam 5 years ago; can't beat it since it's not plot complete.

>>559>HoMM3Sweet, homm2 came out right when I went to college and got high speed internet, played the hell out of that game. Homm3 is better still, represents a peak in the genre(in my head at least).
I've played it way too much to pick it up again, bout to try ""song of conquest"" out; seems like it might be a contender for worthy successor.

>>716I dont think I have enough experience (only 60hours) to recommend stuff but I like:
Resident Evil 3 Nemesis
City Center Apocalypse (Extended)
Snow Den
I usually sort by popularity and download that but I will pretty much play anything, so I might have not the best taste in campaigns.
